The header of
http://www.communistpartyofireland.ie shows a red flagoid with a red
hammer/sickle inside a yellow explosion-shaped device (the 9-point upper segment
of a 20-pointed sun, I guess?) No actual article is in evidence in photos of
party marches below, however, just plain red ones.
From above url:
"The Communist Party of Ireland is an all-Ireland Marxist party founded in 1933.
Its aim is to win the support of the majority of the Irish people for ending the
capitalist system and for building socialism—a social system in which the means
of production, distribution and exchange are publicly owned and utilised for the
benefit of the whole people."

According to the Internet Archive, the red flagoid with a red hammer and sickle
inside a yellow rising sun has appeared at the homepage header between
2004-09-24 [1] and 2004-11-26 [2]. Prior to
that, the charges were shown as the standalone emblem, which was introduced
between 2003-05-27 [3] and 2003-06-20 [4]. It
had replaced an earlier flagoid, depicting a version of the
Starry Plough flag with yellow stars on red field, which seems to have been introduced between 2002-01-13 [5] and
2001-09-22 [6]; prior to this last date, no flagoids or other
emblems were shown at the homepage. It is yet to discover if the flags with this
design were actually used, because the website contained no photos of current
events during the time of this flagoid's use.

At the Communist Party of Ireland website, a photo was recently posted which
shows people carrying flags with the same design as the logo in the page header.
Consequently, this is no longer to be considered a flagoid. The real flag only
seems to be less oblong (about 2:3) than the image above and the emblem looks
smaller as well. The use of possible previous flag design (below) still remains
to be verified.
